Bryan Adams to Headline Rock N Roll Circus 2025 in Sheffield

Canadian Rock Legend Joins Star-Studded Line-Up for August Bank Holiday Festival

Sheffield’s Rock N Roll Circus is set to deliver an electrifying experience this August Bank Holiday weekend, with Canadian rock icon Bryan Adams confirmed as the Friday night headliner on 29th August 2025. The announcement follows the withdrawal of The Wombats from the line-up, paving the way for Adams to bring his high-energy performance to the Don Valley Bowl.

With a career spanning over four decades and more than 100 million records sold worldwide, Adams is renowned for timeless hits such as “Summer of ’69”, “Heaven”, and “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”. His performance in Sheffield coincides with the release of his 17th studio album, Roll With The Punches, promising fans a mix of classic anthems and fresh tracks.

Joining Adams on the Friday line-up is Melanie C, known globally as Sporty Spice from the Spice Girls. Her solo career boasts over 20 million records sold, with chart-topping hits like “Never Be the Same Again” and “I Turn to You”. Melanie C's dynamic stage presence and vocal prowess are expected to be a highlight of the evening.

Also performing is Newton Faulkner, celebrated for his percussive guitar style and soulful voice. His hits “Dream Catch Me” and “Teardrop” have become festival favourites, and his live performances are known for their emotional depth and technical brilliance.

Adding a contemporary edge to the line-up is Cassyette, a rising star in the alt-pop scene. Described as “the future of rock” by Kerrang!, she blends punk, metal, and pop influences to create a unique sound that has captivated audiences across the UK.

The festival's Friday schedule also features a diverse array of artists, including Nell Mescal, Somebody’s Child, Ashley Singh, Deco, Bethany Grace, Crystal Tides, Femur, The Crookes, Sundress, Charlie Floyd, and Alice Ede.

Rock N Roll Circus is more than just a music festival; it's an immersive experience combining world-class performances with circus acts, gourmet street food, and vibrant after-parties. The event boasts three stages, including the Discovery Stage and BBC Introducing Stage, showcasing over 40 artists throughout the weekend. Festival-goers can also enjoy the VIP Greggs Area, featuring late-night DJs, premium facilities, private bars, and exclusive merchandise.

The festival kicks off on Wednesday 27th August with a sold-out performance by Queens of the Stone Age. The following days feature an eclectic mix of artists: Thursday sees Queens of the Stone Age return alongside Viagra Boys, Fat Dog, and Shame; Saturday includes performances by Reverend & The Makers, Dayfever, Groove Armada, and Carl Barat & Peter Doherty; Sunday concludes the festival with James, Ocean Colour Scene, Embrace, Cast, and Sleeper.
